Field Marketing

San Francisco, CA

Please apply by emailing your resume/CV to hiring@trytruewind.com with the subject line: [Role Title] - [Your Name].

What We Do

Truewind is the digital accountant for modern accounting teams. We use AI agents to help startups, growing businesses, and accounting firms close faster, reduce manual work, and deliver clean, investor-ready financials.

Truewind is built for the messy, high-volume parts of accounting - like Point of Sale tie-outs, payroll accruals, donations/revenue schedules, fixed assets & prepaids rollforwards, and field-services revenue recognition - and turns them into reliable workflows without spreadsheet chaos.

We're a YC company and have raised a $13M Series A co-led by Rho Capital and Thomson Reuters Ventures (with Pathlight Ventures, Fin Capital, and Y Combinator participating), bringing total funding to $17M+.

Who We Are

Truewind is a fast-moving, thoughtful team built around ownership, impact, and solving problems that matter.

We collaborate closely in San Francisco from our office at 577 2nd St, and what matters most is that we execute and deliver outcomes for customers.

We are looking for...

We're hiring someone in Field Marketing to help shape how Truewind shows up in the market. This role sits across go-to-market, events, partnerships, and execution, with broad scope and direct visibility into what is actually driving pipeline.

This person will help build how we create in-person demand and trust in the accounting ecosystem, not just execute inside a narrow lane. You'll work alongside leadership, sales, and growth to turn market presence into qualified opportunities.

The right person for this role is high-agency, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating close to decisions and close to outcomes. The work will not always be neatly packaged, but it will matter.

Being a Field Marketing Manager at Truewind means you...

This role sits at the intersection of field marketing and execution. That means the scope will shift as the company evolves, but it will likely include:

  • Planning and running events, dinners, roundtables, and other in-person programs
  • Helping decide where Truewind should show up and how we should show up
  • Working with sales to turn events and market presence into qualified pipeline
  • Supporting partner and ecosystem programs across the accounting and finance landscape
  • Managing event logistics end-to-end, from concept through follow-up
  • Building repeatable playbooks so strong programs become a system, not a one-off
  • Identifying what is working, what is not, and iterating quickly

What we need...

  • 2+ years of experience in field marketing, events marketing, partnerships, demand generation, or a related go-to-market role
  • Thrive in ambiguity and instinctively bring structure to messy problems
  • Prefer owning outcomes over waiting for perfectly defined tasks
  • Move fluidly between strategy and execution
  • Have strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Communicate with polish and good judgment
  • Use AI and modern tools as leverage, not novelties
  • Operate faster than average because you automate, ship, and iterate
  • Care about impact more than titles or perfectly defined swim lanes
  • Want a steep growth curve and meaningful responsibility
  • Ultimately aspire to build, lead, or start something significant

Experience marketing to accountants, controllers, CFOs, or finance teams is a plus. Experience running executive dinners, roundtables, customer events, or partner programs is also helpful, but not required.

If you don't meet every qualification above but believe you'll succeed in this role, we encourage you to apply anyway.

What we offer

  • $70,000-$90,000 target cash compensation, inclusive of base salary and target bonus
  • Equity in a fast-growing startup
  • Bonus tied to broader company goals
  • In-office collaboration in San Francisco

Actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and scope of the role. In exceptional cases, offers may fall outside this range.

This role is designed for someone who wants real responsibility early, accelerated growth, and a front-row seat to excellent execution. If that excites you more than anything, please apply.
